Teacher CPD Opportunities

Aims:
- to support teachers in how to develop engineering education in the curriculum for 7-14 year olds
- to provide professional forums for teachers to share ideas, approaches and challenges together
- to link teachers with real-world engineering contexts and people

Everything we create is built to slot easily into the National Curriculum, particularly D&T, Computing and Science for upper primary and lower secondary. More teacher CPD sessions are on the way, so you’ll have plenty of support as you get started. In the meantime, do check out our toolkits!

Engineers of Tomorrow Showcase 2026

Inspire your learners to think like real engineers. As part of the eighth Engineering Educates Robotics Challenge (launching January 2026), learners aged 7–14 will identify an issue that matters to them and design a robot solution using the Engineering Design Cycle.

The journey culminates in the Engineers of Tomorrow Showcase, where schools will come together to exhibit their projects, explore each other’s innovations, and meet engineers, academics and industry partners. It’ll be a powerful, high-energy experience that raises aspirations and shows young people what engineering looks like in the real world.

Join the Teachers’ Webinar – 20 January - Book here

Want to get involved?
Our short online session will walk you through the project, share the free curriculum-linked resources, and show you how your learners can take part in the Showcase. Whether you’re new to Engineering Educates or already involved, this webinar will help you make the most of the challenge.

Bring engineering to life — ask, imagine, create with your learners. Book here.
