New EngEd Challenges Have Landed!

What do you think of when you think of ‘engineering’? How about your learners? Many will mention ‘fixing things’ but engineering is so much more - it’s creativity, curiosity, and solving the problems that matter most. Our next two Engineering Educates: Robotics Challenges bring this to life with hands-on missions that take learners from high in the skies to deep beneath our streets.

In The Sky’s the Limit, learners explore how Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) are transforming industries, from wildlife conservation to medical supply delivery.

Pipe Pioneers goes underground, where civil engineering meets robotics to keep our water, gas, and sewage systems running safely.

Like all our challenges, these are hands-on, fully inclusive, and mapped to the curriculum in Design & Technology, Science, and Computing. They build Engineering Habits of Mind like problem-solving, creativity, and collaboration; skills that last a lifetime.

Teachers are provided with everything they need: ready-to-use lesson plans, resources for all sessions, and access to the EngEd Toolkit for Get Making Guides, Skills Videos, and Careers Chats. Plus, the challenges work flexibly, you choose the ones that fit your learners and timetable.

Basic Bots - a guide to creating basic robotic components

Whether it’s flying high or digging deep, these challenges will inspire your learners to think and build like real engineers.
